Everywhere stew!!!!

Whether you are active on social media or not, you should have seen the word ‘Stew’ making rounds by now.
You’re probably wondering where this trending slang came from. Guys, we have Wizkid to blame for this! He started off tweeting about soon coming ‘stew‘ earlier this month. And in this case, his tweet was all about his first 2018 singles “Fever” and “Master Groove”  .
Next, he tweeted this in the days leading up to the video release for “Fever” and he sure did serve up some Peppery stew.
Now with Nigerians, it is pretty easy to get everyone talking about something especially if it’s from a celebrity as big as Wizkid or Tiwa Savage. Tiwa Savage’s cameo in the Fever video with Wizkid was the moment that finally made everyone catch up on to Wizkid’s slang.

Thugs disrupt TraderMoni scheme in Ilorin

  H oodlums invaded the Mandate Market in Ilorin, Kwara State, today and scared away petty traders and TraderMoni agents, disrupting the disbursement of money to beneficiaries of the scheme. As early as 9am, the hoodlums, some of them wearing ‘PDP Atikulated T-shirts’, stormed the Mandate Market, insisting that the TraderMoni scheme could not be conducted, because the Senate President Bukola Saraki’s father donated the land to the state government to build the market. It was not clear whether they were sent by anyone or whether they were mere party zealots, working on their own. According to witnesses, including Bank of Industry (BOI) officials who were at the market to supervise the enumeration and disbursement of the N10,000 collateral free loans, the arrival of the mob at Mandate Market caused some uproar.
